When you look closely the hotel needs a some work and a bit tired in places, but for the value, amazing staff, food, location and great atmosphere (in the cocktail lounge) all can be forgiven. The staff were fantastic, the food was great especially when we upgraded ourselves on the second night to the cafe, where it was an amazing meal of scallops, mussels and locally made ice cream; my wife having triple goats cheese, duck and sticky toffee pudding.
